Film You Are the Apple of My Eye full movie is a film adapted from the semi-autobiographical novel entitled Na Xie Nian, Wo Men Yi Qi Zhui De Nu Hai works of Giddens Ko. The film, which was also directed by Giddens Ko, tells the story of two different character high school students named Ko Teng and Shen Chia Yi.
The 105-minute long film has been screened in a marathon at the box office for more than 40 days and ranked 2nd on the Taiwan chart. After its success, the film was also made in the Japanese version of the same title and was directed by Yasuo Hasegawa.
Synopsis You Are the Apple of My Eye
Set in 1994, Ko Teng (Kai Ko) is a high school student who is lazy, sloppy, and always makes noise in the classroom. While Shen Chia-Yi (Michelle Chen) is the most beautiful and smart student. Ko’s friends really like Chia Yi and are always after her. However, Ko did not pay any attention to Chia Yi. Ko and Chia Yi didn’t suit each other at first.
Relationship
Their relationship grew and Ko’s lesson values gradually improved. When he graduated Ko enrolled at Chiao Tung University. However, Chia-Yi did not succeed in the admission test because of illness that day.
Chia Yi also only managed to enter the Taipei National Education University. Feeling pressured, Chia Yi was comforted by Ko, who contacted him remotely almost every night. During the holiday season that year, the two went on a date, where Ko intended to express his feelings for Chia Yi. However, for fear of being rejected, Ko kept his own feelings.
