Dr. Stone is the work of Riichirou Inagaki (Eyeshield 21) and Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and will get an anime adaptation that will air precisely in July 2019. Synopsis
The story begins when all humanity suddenly turns into a statue because of the mysterious light that illuminates the earth. Other humans trapped in the rocks began to lose consciousness and modern civilization slowly began to disappear in time. After more than three thousand years, Taiju finally woke up from “sleep” because it managed to maintain the determination to stay alive while in the rock.
Not alone, he met again with his friend who liked the smell of science, Senku, who had “woken up” earlier a few months before. They both finally determined to restart human civilization with the power of science.
