In early summer, Bridget (Kelly O’Sullivan) has an abortion. This was done right when he got a much-needed job in the rich state of Evanston, Illinois, to care for a six-year-old child. Having no time to recover, he is at odds with Frances (Ramona Edith Williams), who is stubborn and struggles to grow the growing tension between Frances’s mothers.
Over time, her relationship with Frances grew closer and closer. On the one hand, Bridget feels happy, but on the other hand, he feels unlucky for being a part of someone else’s family.
