In 2093, the ship arrived in orbit around LV 223, after being awakened from hibernation, the crew was told about their mission to find an ancient alien, called “Engineer” who was probably the creator of the human race.
They also saw a holographic message from Weyland informing them of his funding for the mission and that he had died.
