Synopsis The Meg
The Megrecounts the action of saving a group of people trapped on the seabed. The film tells the story of an international submarine attacked by large creatures, which were previously thought to be extinct, and unfortunately now lives in the deepest part of the Pacific ocean.
Jason Statham plays Jonas Taylor, a former United States Navy who for five years had a bad experience with the sea. He once rescued a number of divers who were attacked by ferocious sharks. But Jonas did not save the others because for him it was death for all. The failure to save his fellow humans caused trauma to Jonas.
Five years later there was a study conducted by Dr. Zhang ( Winston Chao ) and the daughter Suyin ( Li BingBing ) who had an underwater research mission with a facility called Mana One. They have a mission to dive into the deepest ocean carried out by Toshi, Jaxx Heard, and Dr. Heller. The mission was initially seen as a success until finally, something hit the submarine until it lost contact with Mana One.
