Cheer Up Lee is a film directed by Lee Gye-Byeok comedy-drama genre. Aired on September 11, 2019.
The film stars Cha Seung-Won, Uhm Chae-Young, and Park Hae-Jun. Tells of a man who has a perfect appearance, but is a bit slow (retarded) and one day, he knows his daughter is suffering from a deadly disease.
They traveled together to find gifts for their daughter’s best friend. And the people around him were in an uproar and thought they had disappeared.
Synopsis Cheer Up Lee
Cheer Up Lee tells about Cheol-Soo (Cha Seung-Won) physically fit and handsome, but has a slow mentality. He lives with his younger brother’s family (Park Hae-Joon) and works in their restaurant.
One day, an older woman stops her car and asks Cheol-Soo to help her find the closest hospital. There, he asks Cheol-Soo to do a blood test. It turns out that the older woman is Cheol-Soo’s ex-mother-in-law (Kim Hye-Ok).
Cheol-Soo also meets Saet-Byeol (Um Chae-Young) at the hospital. She is a young girl who has leukemia and it turns out she is her daughter.
One day Saet-Byeol slipped out of the hospital to travel to Daegu to get the signature of a famous baseball player. The signature is a birthday present for his friend at the hospital. Cheol-Soo coincidentally joined Saet-Byeol on his journey.
