Synopsis Chappie

Crime levels skyrocketed, South Africa bought a surveillance squadron from the Tetravaal arms factory. Autonomous Android developed by scientist Deon Wilson. The competing project in the company, Moose, is remotely controlled and developed by the Australian army. Deon was praised for the success of Tetravaal but Vincent became jealous when the police did not want to give the platform.

Deon then created a prototype of artificial intelligence to mimic human thoughts but Tetravaal CEO Michelle Bradley refused to let him test AI against police robots. Deon stole the broken robot and put it in the van. On the way home, Deon kidnaps a gang of gangsters.

Yolandi, Ninja, and America threatened to kill him unless Deon wanted to reprogram police robots to help them steal. Deon installs new software in broken robots, which respond to childlike jitters when turned on. Yolandi and Deon calmed the robot and taught the words and named it Chappie.
